Dance of the Earth is immersive, detailed, and very moving.
I absolutely devoured Dance of the Earth. Holmes paints a hypnotic world of ballet dance and pulls the characters into this world so effortlessly.
I can see this book as a Sunday night screenplay adaptation, each episode full of dance, music and vibrant coloured costumes.
The detail and description is sumptuous and the length allows every character to breathe and develop, while still being a page turner.
A compelling read and I loved it. It was one of those books you wished would go on and on.
