Anna M Holmes writes thought-provoking stories, across genres, to keep readers turning pages.
Her books are ideal for book clubs seeking engaging reads that spark lively discussions.
While writing has always been a part of Anna’s life, it became central more than twenty years ago.
Initially Anna worked as a broadcast journalist before a career in arts management. This included working with UK Arts Councils as a Dance & Theatre officer, and independently as a creative producer. She’s lectured in 20th Century Dance History and made a documentary film honouring the pioneers of flamenco dance in the UK (see the Film page). She holds a B.A in Humanities, a post-graduate diploma in Journalism, and an M.A. in Dance Studies. Learning, she considers, is a life-long pursuit.
Writing, dance, and yoga are threads weaving through Anna’s daily and weekly life.
Originally from New Zealand Anna lives in London, UK, with her Dutch partner.
